《9号秘事》是一部英式黑色幽默悬疑喜剧。一部只有短短的几集，每一集都讲一个独立的故事。每一集只有短短的半个小时，却以十分紧凑的剧情和片尾的意外结局让观众大为赞赏。

记得《疯城记》吗？Reece Shearsmith和Steve Pemberton再度携手归来，联合BBC推出这部暗黑喜剧《Inside NO.9》,关于片名，主创在一次采访中提到这完全是随机想到的一个名字，原本也不是9这个数字，后来觉得9更加顺口才采用了... 该剧与《黑镜》的结构类似，一集一个故事，每集的故事都是独立的；看过《疯城记》的人应该都为二位的演技所折服，相信此次的6个新故事也不会令人失望……

第四季依然由Reece Shearsmith和Steve Pemberton两位怪才主演，依然是6集。其中第一集叫桑吉巴，讲述的伦敦一家叫桑吉巴的酒店第9层的故事，游客、妓女等形形色色的人都聚集在这里，发生了阴差阳错的事...

《9号秘事》这部以反转著称的英剧是《疯城记》主创史蒂夫·佩姆伯顿与瑞斯·希尔史密斯的最新作品，自开播之后广受剧迷追捧。在接受英媒采访时，佩姆伯顿透露第三季是“特别黑暗的一季，其中有两三集我们将恐怖惊悚元素推向了新高度。”这一季依然会由六个独立故事组成，故事发生的位置总与9号有关，一座1978年的阿尔卑斯山小木屋、一家关门之后的餐馆、一间艺术馆和一个KTV包房成为第三季上演好戏的舞台。

故事描述女警官Catherine（Sarah Lancashire）带领一个调查组来到约克郡一处偏远的山谷调查一起绑架案，但很快发现案情线索复杂。在一连串多米诺骨牌式的事件发生后，这起案件引出了多起更加严重的犯罪。

本剧由英国“鬼才二人组”里斯·谢尔史密斯、史蒂夫·佩姆伯顿自编自演的一部英国黑暗喜剧。该剧以讽刺现实的独立故事为主要内容。

《9号秘事》第二季是由吉列尔莫·莫拉莱斯担任导演，《绅士联盟》成员史蒂夫·佩姆伯顿和里斯·谢尔史密斯自编自演，联合BBC推出的一部英国暗黑喜剧。该剧与《黑镜》结构类似，一集一个故事，每集故事都是独立的，第二季于2015年3-4月播出，一共由六个新故事组成。

The commissioning editor for the BBC will be Gregor Sharp and they will be executive produced by Jon Plowman with Adam Tandy as producer.
